We are
looking for you!

Seligman Fire is looking for volunteers who want to be part
of a team that serves their fellow citizens during an emergency.
Here's what we need:
- Volunteer firefighters - we will train you - state
fire schooling available - inquire
- EMS - Emergency Medical Technicians and First Responders
- schooling available - inquire
- Drivers - Water tanker truck drivers - we train
- "Captain Clipboard" - Person(s) to gather and record information
at an emergency scene
- Other - Inquire about how you can contribute
Personal characteristics we are seeking:
- Able to work with the team as a team. (absolutely no lone-cowboy-hero
attitudes tolerated)
- Clean criminal background
- Valid drivers license
- People who take initiative and get work done
- People who will put their own safety first, the safety of the crew
second, the safety of the public third and the safety of personal property
absolutely last.
- You are required to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) while
at an emergency scene.
- You are required to arrive safely to and from the fire station. We
will not tolerate speeding.
We have adopted the national fire/rescue risk management
plan.
- We will risk a lot to protect and save a savable life.
- We will risk a little to protect savable property.
- We will not take any risk to protect lives or property
that are already lost.
Other Information:
- We meet every 3rd Sunday as 3pm (1500hrs) for training.
- We monitor radios 24 hours a day / 7 days a week for emergencies.
- We meet every Saturday night for approx 30 minutes for vehicle start-up
and maintenance.
